Within our own space in Faraday Wharf; a large business incubation complex within Birmingham Science Park, we bring to the table five years' of experience in web development and branding. Our portfolio boasts quality work for SME's in a variety of fields, including engineering, creative and the third sector. We love what we do and we'd love to craft something for you.

Our Twin Approach

As a project-based contractor; we'll work directly with you project by project to ensure we communicate your brand effectively. We see this as being able to get our teeth into the project, helping you meet your communication targets.

As In-House Partners we'll become an undercover extension of your company. If you're at capacity and need to out source work we'd love to help by stepping into your shoes producing quality outcomes under your name. Some call it "White-labeling".

How do we work?

Web

Concept

The foundations are always important to any creative process, for this reason ours are laid with upmost care. We always start with wireframe diagrams of how your pages will look; think of these as the skeleton of the overall design. These allow for flexibility before anything is set in stone, after amends we ask that you sign them off; ensuring that your fully happy throughout the entire design process.
Design

This is where we put the skin on the bones of the wireframes. These flat images will show the visual style of your final site, getting the tone of voice right here is critical to clear communication. We try and crack the style first time but we value your comments so allow for a couple of amends before sign off happens.
Development

It's often behind the scenes where most of the work takes place; which is true of development. Once the design's are agreed they are taken and turned into working HTML templates (HTML is computer language). This happens so your browser can read them. They are used directly in the integration of the content management system. All of our development is standards compliant and we use appropriate technologies to realize the best in current web development.
Support

Quality assurance is key to a functioning website, we run cross browser checks to make sure all major browsers display your site correctly. We can provide hosting based in the UK, enabling quicker page loads for local, regional and national users. We offer a 90 day free maintenance contract, starting on the day of launch. This enables us to cover any teething issues or bugs that may arise.

Research

Identifying who your talking to is one of the most important parts of the branding process. Understanding your target audience and the competitive landscape is key to pitching your brand identity at the right level. This stage is also where we start to develop your company ethos and communication goals.
Conceptualisation

This is where idea's are realized, pen goes to paper and logo's start to take shape. Meaning and purpose is integral to the creation of all visual identities, validating your brands voice. We all know its quality over quantity; yet in this part of the production, quantity breeds quality.
Revisions

A brand should last, not have a sell by date or relay on a current trend to maintain its look. For this reason we work closely with you to review and amend chosen concepts. Preferred routes often evolve through this stage as we refine and polish the design.
Brand Guidelines

We craft brands that last. This is great for you and it's also great for our portfolio! This means that we want to equip you with the tools of how to use your new brand effectively into the future. Studio Bonito's Brand Guidelines demonstrate and explain how your identity can communicate a consistent message to your audience in the years to come.
